Casa Raiz

Kave Home armchair in beige upholstery and walnut carpentry. A dining table from Ethnicraft behind it, and a bespoke kitchen beyond in the background.

Casa Raiz is a complete renovation of a 3-bedroom townhouse with garage, study and pool in a quiet part of Santa Maria del Cami.

The interior design leans towards relaxed but elevated. The neutral beige colour scheme is being punctuated by pops of colour in the kitchen and main bedroom.
We have introduced subtle detailing with antique brass strips within the recessed handles of the bespoke carpentry. Generally shaded, when they catch the light they give off a certain je ne sais quoi, breaking up the dullness of flat doors. The brass elements are echoed throughout the house in the door and window handles, as well as curtain rails and surface mounted light fixtures.

The kitchen is fitted with fully integrated Miele appliances and a hot water tap from Grohe, while the sink is bespoke and fabricated out of the same beautiful quartzite for a seamless finish.

The main bedroom enjoys a private terrace with views towards the Santa Maria church. These two elements are in conversation by the introduction of rich blue shades in the space through the rug, cushions and the seating in the walk-in wardrobe, echoing the colours of the glistening bell tower.
