This includes spatial planning, detailed drawings of each room, lighting plans and carpentry designs. The furniture is chosen to work within the mood and space we are creating, while the art and accessories complete the scheme.

Whether you are building a new property, renovating one or in need of a refresh in your current home, this service will provide an anchor point in the design process.
After the consultation you will receive a fee proposal outlining the scope of work and an estimated timeline from inception to completion. The fee is tailored to each project, dependant on the scope and size, which is why an initial consultation is essential to establish the right parameters and tasks suitable for your home.
Spatial Planning
The first step in the design process is to assess the current layout of your property, and see how we can improve it to suit your lifestyle. Solutions can range from changing the use of a space, swapping furniture around, or adding built-in joinery to completely reimagining the space, moving walls or creating new enclosures.
Finishes, fixtures and fittings
During this stage we will look at the permanent elements that make up the new design of your project. Floor and wall finishes will be chosen, along with establishing material boards and designs for the kitchen, joinery and bathrooms. At this point items like taps, sanitaryware, appliances and architectural lighting should also be selected.
Construction & Soft Furnishings
While the construction work takes place we can shift our focus towards furniture, curtains, decorative lighting, art and accessories. I work with various trade-only suppliers to source the best quality products or finishes for your project. During this time I would also be managing the trades on site ensuring that the design is being implemented as intended.
Installation and finishing touches
It is the most awaited part of the design process, when the furniture, rugs, curtains and art will finally be installed. There will be styling of decor items, cushions and throws and any necessary adjustments will be highlighted to the respective suppliers or specialist trades.
